Ondertussen: Thijs Ebbe Fokkens

In the Ondertussen space the artist Thijs Ebbe Fokkens (lives and works in The Hague) shows objects, photographs and other traces, that document the site specific projects he created between 2010 and 2013 with the support of a Stroom PRO grant. It concerns the following projects: Bringing coherence to the mystery in De Fabriek (Eindhoven, 2010), TOO BIG TO FAIL in De Overslag (Eindhoven, 2011), Hole in One in Kunstverein Leverkusen (2012) and The Aleph in Kunsthal KAdE (Amersfoort, 2013).

For these projects Thijs Ebbe Fokkens collaborated with Johan Nieuwenhuize (photo documentation and advertisement TOO BIG TO FAIL) and Since Today (publication Hole in One and advertisement TOO BIG TO FAIL).

Ondertussen
The former reception area of Stroom has been converted into a small exhibition space. On a regular basis there are presentations of artists who have received a subsidy in the categories Stroom PRO- and SPOT-grants. The informal exhibitions and presentations are intended to illustrate the diversity of the Stroom grant system. The program in the space is called Ondertussen (the Dutch word for 'meanwhile').
